How about “You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time”?

I personally think it’s all about accountability and “truth-in’advertising”. If you did (photoshopped) it, say it! Then let the editors fight it out. The issue only becomes gray when deceit is part of the equation.

Let’s see who trusts him after this. His trick was really not all that clever. He used people’s trust and charity and then he laughed. So far, I don’t see anyone laughing with him.

Well said Jain.

Just a note to add to the background of this “fake” photographer. A couple of months ago he own a 25 thousand euro award in Portugal (BES PHOTO BAWARD), but the rules of the competition clearly state that no manipulated images are aloud… well it is proven now that Edgar manipulates them, however he kept the prize and the benefit of all promotional ordeal.

I guess in portugal this sort of stuff is acceptable…
